Favorable data on vaccine efforts continued to stream in over the past several weeks. Both Pfizer and Moderna expect their vaccine distribution to begin in the U.S. and the U.K. within the next 30 days, contingent on FDA approval. Economic data during the month of November was relatively strong, despite concerns over increased lockdowns across portions of the U.S with markets generally focused on the positive news in November. U.S. manufacturing and service activity was up in November, but consumer confidence and job gains were down.
